My last hurrah for summer 2014 happened in Miniloc Island, one of the islands owned and operated by El Nido Resorts. The town of El Nido is located in Palawan, Philippines which is found in the southwest area of the country. It comprises of several different islands, El Nido resorts comprises about 5-8 islands on which they built their different resorts. We stayed in Minioc Island which is the oldest and more family-friendly island. But even the children who stay here are well-behaved and not very boisterous.

It has a rustic vibe to it but the amenities and customer service are world-class. If you want privacy and exclusivity to your vacation, El Nido Resorts is the way to go. You don't have to worry about your itinerary because everything is planned by their Activities Coordinator. You can add to it and verify the frequency but nothing to worry about. This is the most hassle-free vacation I ever had.

On our way to Miniloc Island via banca or boat

There are 2 ways of getting to El Nido, the first and easiest way is to book a plane ride from Manila-El Nido via ITI airlines which is a 50-seater plane and then from LIO airport, the resort will have boat transfers ready for you. When you book a trip with El Nido Resorts, this can be part of the package. It might add to your budget since the plane ride is about 11,000php roundtrip or about 250-270usd. But in terms of convenience, nothing beats it.

The second way of getting to El Nido is a more circuitous way of traveling. You can have a flight going to Puerto Princesa and then have a 5-6 hour land travel plus ferry ride to the resorts. If you take this route, please add another day or two to your travel plans.

I'll be showing you some of the photos that we took while traveling to Miniloc. I'll post more about our Miniloc experience in the coming days. I'm still savoring my trip to paradise.

The opinions shared are my own and based on personal experience. I really loved my stay in this resort that I just want to share it with everyone.
