The Lincoln Myth Steve Berry Book Review

I was so excited to read this latest adventure saga of Cotton Malone. It introduced new characters (Luke Daniels, Josepe Salazar and Senator Rowan)  and also brought back much-loved ones (Stephanie Nelle, Cassiopeia Vitt, Edwin Davis, President Daniels).

The usual formula of history, intrigue, scandal and adventure are aplenty in this new offering but also added a dash of heartache especially for Cotton. It's a page-turner from the start. If you're a Steve Berry fan, you won't be disappointed. If you're a new reader of Steve Berry, you'll get hooked.

I won't share the plot since the book will not be officially launched until May 20th. I don't want to spoil it for the other readers. But definitely, this is something you should have for your summer or spring reading.

Okay, okay...Just a sneak peek...Major themes for this book are the issue of Secession of the States, Mormons, Presidents Lincoln, Madison and Buchanan. You get to travel between Denmark, Austria, Utah, Washington DC.

As with all Steve Berry plots and ideas, you have to have an open-mind and don't accept everything at face value. What sets Steve Berry apart from other authors, he acknowledges and explains everything at the end with his Author's Notes.

I'm very fortunate that I was able to receive an ebook copy from Netgalley and the publisher (Ballantine).
