What to expect in Cebu Goes Culinary 2016 | Fruits of the Earth

"Chefs are not born, they're made."

What would be the new food trend that will be introduced this year? I'm so excited to find out. Don't miss out on this huge celebration.

Now on its 12th year of being the biggest, most-awaited and exciting culinary competition in the Visayas region, Cebu Goes Culinary will highlight the talent, skills and mastery of the culinary art by aspiring and professional chefs. These hopefuls are representing the different hotels, resorts, culinary schools and universities from all over Cebu, Bohol, Negros, Dumaguete and Iloilo.

The venue for this year's competition will be the new Robinson's Galleria Cebu and will feature the theme, Fruits of the Earth.

Various culinary activities and workshops will be held on July 22 and 23, 2016. The two-days will be filled with gastronomic delights and competitions.

Over 20 culinary-related events will be showcased. Cake decoratiing, speed cooking, bartending, table and menu setting are just some of the things that visitors over the course of days can expect.

The culinary world's superstars and celebrities will grace the different competitions and activities. Myrna Segismundo (cookbook author and restaurateur), Bruce Lim (Asian Food Channel host), Penk Ching-Tan (Celebrity Pastry chef), Jill Sandique (Blue Ribbon Awardee and lead trainer for the US Agriculture Council of Chefs), Sharwin Tee (Lifestyle Network), and Myke Tatung Sarthou (Celebrity Chef and Culinary Heritage advocate) will be there to add spice to Cebu Goes Culinary 2016.
